As part of our role to encourage engagement and development across the Arts in schools, we have accepted the challenge from our friends at Curious Minds to become an Artsmark town. This includes an ambitious target to get 50% of Sefton schools signed up on their Artsmark Journey.
At a time of increased uncertainty around curriculum change, the importance of greater depth and breadth, and the promotion of ‘cultural capital’, embarking on the Artsmark journey can really support the review and development of the arts and creativity across your school.
Working with our colleagues at Curious Minds, our Sefton LCEP team can offer bespoke advice and guidance in exploring your practice within your own school context, audit your provision and develop your initial ‘Statement of Commitment’ and final ‘Case Study’.
